【摘要】:1.1Thispracticecoverstheproceduresforestablishingallowablepropertiesforstructuralgluedlaminatedtimber.Includedaretheallowablestressesforbending,tensionandcompressionparalleltothegrain,horizontalshear,compressionperpendiculartothegrain,andradialtensionandcompressionincurvedmembers.Alsoincludedaremodulusofelasticityandmodulusofrigidity.1.2Thispracticeislimitedtothecalculationofallowablepropertiessubjecttothegivenproceduresfortheselectionandarrangementofgradesoflumberofthespeciesconsidered.1.3Requirementsforproduction,inspectionandcertificationarenotincluded,butinordertojustifytheallowablepropertiesdevelopedusingproceduresinthispractice,manufacturersmustconformtorecognizedmanufacturingstandards.RefertoANSI/AITCA190.1andCSAO122.1.4Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
