【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesaprocedure(Doctortest)forthedetectionofthiols(mercaptans),hydrogensulfideandelementalsulfurinhydrocarbonsolventsanddistillatepetroleumfeedstocksandproducts.Preliminaryproceduresalsodetectthepresenceofperoxidesandphenolicsubstances,which,whenpresentinmorethantracequantities,maketheapplicationofthisInternationalStandardinappropriate.Carbondisulfide,atrelativelyhighconcentrations[above0,4%(m/m)sulfur],alsointerfereswiththeinterpretationofthetestbycausingdarkeningoftheaqueouslayer.NOTEForthepurposesofthisInternationalStandard,theterm"%(m/m)"isusedtorepresentthemassfractionofamaterial.Thetestisago/no-goprocedurewithathresholdvalueofthiolconcentrationdependentonthematerialundertest.Itisfrequentlyusedasasubstituteforthequantitativedeterminationofthiolcontent.
