【摘要】:ThepHisthemeasureofthefreehydrogenionconcentrationofasample,anditindicateswhetheranelectrocoatbathisacidic,neutral,orbasic.SincepHmeasurementsofgoodprecisionaremadeinaqueoussolutions,itissuggestedthatthepHmeasurementsofelectrocoatbathsareonlysemi-quantitative,andthereforesuchmeasurementsshouldbereferredtoasapparentpHmeasurements.ThepHofelectrocoatpaintsisusedforresearch,production,andqualitycontrolorelectrocoatbathprocesscontrol.OtherrelatedmethodsfordeterminingthepHofwateroraqueoussystemsaredescribedinTestMethodsD1293andE70.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthemeasurementofthefreehydrogenionconcentrationofelectrocoatbathsandtheirultrafiltrates.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
